When you register or interact with ShigHoops, we may collect the following:
- Full name of the athlete and parent/guardian
- Email and mobile phone number (parent/guardian only)
- Billing and payment information
- Training preferences and history
- Device and browser information (via our website)

- Register and manage athlete enrollment
- Send scheduling updates, reminders, and coaching tips
- Deliver training resources and communications
- Process payments and manage billing
- Comply with legal and safety obligations
03. SMS & email opt-in details
By submitting your contact information and checking the consent box, you (as the parent or legal guardian) agree to the following:
3.1 - SMS Consent. You consent to receive recurring marketing, informational, and transactional SMS messages from ShigHoops LLC and its partners:
- Messages may be sent via automated technologies (e.g., autodialers, CRM platforms)
- Message frequency may vary (approximately 2-8 messages per month)
- Text "STOP" to opt out at any time, or "HELP" for assistance
- Msg & data rates may apply
- Consent is not a condition of enrollment or purchase
- You confirm you are the account holder and at least 18 years old
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, and we do not sell your personal information.
3.2 - Email Consent. You consent to receive marketing, informational, and transactional emails, sent through manual or automated email tools. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Consent is not a condition of enrollment or purchase.

We do not directly collect personal information from children under 13. All registration, communication, and data collection is conducted with verified parental or guardian consent. Youth participants access our services under adult authorization only.
09. Media release
With your consent, we may use images or video of your child for coaching feedback and promotional materials, without naming or tagging unless separately permitted. No compensation will be provided. You may opt out of media use at any time by contacting us at ethan@shighoops.com; we will stop new use within 5 business days, though previously published materials will not be recalled.
10. Third-party platforms & external sites
Our website may include links to third-party platforms, tools, or external websites not operated or controlled by us, including social media platforms, partner services, and payment processors. Their own privacy policies and practices apply when you interact with them, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or data handling. Your use of such platforms is voluntary.
